These Terms of Use and End User License Agreement ("Terms" or "Agreement") govern your access to and use of the iPurge Mac application ("Software" or "iPurge") and the website at ipurge.app ("Website"). The Software and Website are owned and operated by Taqnik, a brand of Neuralmesh Private Limited ("Licensor", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, copying, or using iPurge, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download, install, or use iPurge.
1. License grant and scope
iPurge is licensed, not sold. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Taqnik, a brand of Neuralmesh Private Limited, grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and run iPurge.
- Direct edition (iPurge Full): One purchased license includes one license key and authorizes a single individual user to install and use iPurge Full on up to three (3) Mac computers that you own or personally control, for personal or commercial purposes.
- Mac App Store edition: Copies downloaded from Apple's Mac App Store are tied to your Apple ID and are additionally governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) and Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
2. Restrictions
You may not, directly or indirectly:
- Copy, share, redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or publish your license key or activation credentials.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decrypt, or attempt to derive the source code of iPurge, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this limitation.
- Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the Software.
- Bypass, alter, defeat, or circumvent any licensing check, trial limitation, or security feature within iPurge.
- Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notices, trademarks, or proprietary markings on the Software.
- Use the Software in any manner that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
3. Free trial
iPurge Full provides a 7-day free trial. Following expiration of the trial period, access to cleaning actions requires activation with a valid license key. The Mac App Store edition offers free preview scanning and cleanup of up to 2 GB prior to an in-app purchase unlock.
4. Purchase, payment, and refunds
iPurge Full is available as a one-time purchase of $29 USD, and verified owners of the Mac App Store edition can upgrade to iPurge Full for $10 USD (taxes and VAT may be added at checkout depending on your location). These direct purchases are processed by Gumroad, our merchant of record, which handles checkout, payment processing, fraud prevention, and tax compliance. Upon completed purchase, your license key and receipt are emailed to the address provided at checkout.
Purchases of the Mac App Store edition ($19 USD) are made directly through Apple and are governed by Apple's sales terms and refund policies at reportaproblem.apple.com.
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds on direct purchases. iPurge Full includes an unrestricted 7-day free trial that lets you test every cleaning tool, the dashboard, and compatibility with your own Mac and macOS version before you pay anything. Please use the trial to satisfy yourself that iPurge works for you.
Because iPurge is a digital product that is delivered immediately, by completing checkout you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that your license key is supplied at once and that you therefore lose any right of withdrawal or cooling-off period that would otherwise apply to the purchase (including under the EU and UK consumer rights rules for digital content). This applies to iPurge Full ($29 USD) and to the App Store owner upgrade ($10 USD).
If iPurge does not work correctly on your Mac, email support@taqnik.in with your order email, your macOS version, and a description of the problem. We will do our best to fix it or help you get it running. Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights you may have that cannot be waived under the law of your country of residence.
5. Your responsibility for your data and backups
iPurge is engineered with strict safeguards: all files selected for removal are moved to the macOS Trash (never permanently hard-deleted directly), full item previews with file sizes are displayed prior to removal, an explicit confirmation dialog is required before any batch action, and critical macOS system files, iCloud storage, Keychains, Photos libraries, and active applications are automatically protected.
However, you acknowledge and agree that you remain solely responsible for reviewing all items prior to confirming removal and for keeping independent, regular backups of your data (such as via Time Machine or external drives). Emptying the macOS Trash, or using the Trash cleanup feature within iPurge, makes file removal permanent. We assume no responsibility or liability for any accidental removal, data loss, or corruption resulting from user error or failure to maintain adequate backups.
6. Updates and changes
We may release updates, bug fixes, or enhancements from time to time. Minor updates and patches within version 1.x are provided free of charge. We reserve the right to modify, replace, or discontinue features as the software evolves. Future major versions (such as version 2.x) may be offered as separate purchases or optional paid upgrades.
7. Intellectual property
All title, ownership rights, copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, and intellectual property rights in and to iPurge (including its code, user interface design, icons, and graphics) remain the exclusive property of Taqnik, a brand of Neuralmesh Private Limited, and its licensors. All rights not expressly granted to you under this Agreement are reserved.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IPURGE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, ACCURACY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT IPURGE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, THAT ITS OPERATION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT IT WILL CORRECTLY CLASSIFY EVERY FILE OR JUNK ITEM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE, OUR AFFILIATES, OR OUR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, PROFITS, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE IPURGE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE), EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR IPURGE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU FOR YOUR IPURGE LICENSE.
10. Termination
You may terminate this Agreement at any time by permanently deleting and uninstalling all copies of iPurge in your possession. We may terminate your license immediately and without prior notice if you breach any term of this Agreement (including unauthorized redistribution of license keys). Upon termination, you must cease all use of iPurge and remove all copies.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how information is handled. In short: the iPurge app operates entirely offline and collects no personal information, telemetry, or analytics.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or to iPurge shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at New Delhi, Delhi, India, and you and we consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. This does not deprive you of any mandatory statutory consumer protections, or of the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, where the law applicable to you grants you that right.
13. Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when changes were made. Continued use of iPurge following notice or posting of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
