This policy explains what iPurge ("we", "us", "our"), developed and provided by Taqnik, a brand of Neuralmesh Private Limited, does and does not do with information, both in the iPurge Mac app and on this website. The short version: the app collects nothing about you.
1. The iPurge app
What we do not collect
- No personal data. We do not ask for your name, email or account to use the app.
- No analytics, no telemetry, no crash tracking, no advertising identifiers.
- No file names, file contents, scan results or history. Scans, the History log and your settings (such as protected folders) stay on your Mac.
Offline operation
iPurge works fully offline. Its license check is offline too: your license key is cryptographically signed and verified on your Mac, with no call to our servers.
2. Purchases and license delivery
- Payments. Purchases are processed by Gumroad, our merchant of record. Gumroad collects the information needed to take payment, handle taxes and prevent fraud (for example your name, email, billing country and payment details). We do not receive or store your card details. See Gumroad's privacy policy for how it handles that data.
- License delivery. Your license key and purchase receipt are sent to the email address you provide at checkout so you can activate and restore your copy.
- What we keep. We keep the minimum order information needed to issue and support your license, such as your email address and order reference.
3. This website
- Cookies. This website does not set cookies and has no advertising or analytics trackers.
- Fonts. Pages load the Poppins font from Google Fonts, and the home page loads the Three.js library from the jsDelivr CDN. Those providers may receive your IP address and browser details when your browser fetches those files.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, time, requested page and browser type) for security and operation. We do not use them to profile you.
- Checkout. When you click Buy, you leave this site and go to Gumroad, which has its own cookies and policy.
4. How we use information
We use order information only to deliver your license key, provide support, meet legal and tax obligations (through our merchant of record), and handle refunds. We do not sell your information and do not use it for advertising.
5. Retention
We keep support emails and license/order records for as long as needed to provide the service and support, and to meet legal or accounting requirements. Hosting logs are kept by the host for a short period under its own policy. Gumroad retains transaction records under its own policy.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent.
- EU/UK (GDPR): the rights above, plus the right to complain to your data protection authority.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): the right to know, delete and correct personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising rights. We do not sell or share personal information.
- India (DPDP Act, 2023): the right to access information, correct and erase data, grievance redressal, and to nominate another person to exercise rights.
To exercise a right, email us at support@taqnik.in . Because the app collects nothing, most of the data we can act on is your order and support email records; payment records held by Gumroad may need to be requested from Gumroad directly.
7. Children
iPurge is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the limited data we hold. The app itself sends nothing off your Mac, which keeps your data on your own computer.
9. International transfers
Our service providers (Gumroad and our host) may process data in other countries. Where required, they rely on appropriate safeguards.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will change the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will make a reasonable effort to let you know.
